Sound Healing Chiang Mai is a wellness studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I built its site end to end: a trilingual experience in English, Chinese, and Thai, with online booking, an e-commerce shop, instrument rentals, and workshop and retreat content.

The brief

The studio serves visitors in three languages, and the site had to do the same — not a translated afterthought, but English, 中文, and Thai as equal citizens behind a language toggle.

Beyond content, the site carries the studio's actual business: session bookings, a shop selling singing bowls, handpans, and incense, instrument rentals, and pages for workshops and retreats. Contact runs where the customers already are — WhatsApp and email.

Approach

The site is built in Astro and served via Cloudflare — a static-first stack that keeps pages fast on any connection and cheap to run.

Booking goes through an external booking system, integrated into the site rather than rebuilt. The shop, rentals, and trilingual content are handled on-site, with the language toggle switching the full experience, not just the navigation.
